I told a friend forever ago that I would make her girls headband holders.\u00a0 So, I finally did.\u00a0 They took me like 20 minutes to make…I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.\u00a0 Oh well.\u00a0 Here is the info on how to make this.<\/p>\n

Need:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fabric<\/p>\n

Multipurpose Spray Adhesive-\u00a0 I used 3m Super 77<\/p>\n

Fabric Glue- I used fabri-tac<\/p>\n

Ribbon<\/p>\n

Baby Formula or Oatmeal Container<\/p>\n

First- rip off the paper on your container.\u00a0 Cut a piece of fabric to fit the can.\u00a0 I used a Costco size formula can, so I cut my fabric about 7 3\/4 inches wide.<\/p>\n

I then took my can outside and sprayed it with the adhesive, came back it and slowly wrapped my fabric around the can.\u00a0 Smooth fabric as you go.<\/p>\n

Cut left over fabric off and glue edge down with fabric glue.\u00a0 Then glue ribbon around bottom and top of can, right over the fabric.\u00a0 This covers the raw edge and helps to keep the fabric from fraying.\u00a0 I used fabric for this project, instead of mod-podge and paper\u00a0 because I thought it would last longer and not tear. The fabric also gives the headbands some grip so they don’t fall to the bottom of the can.<\/p>\n

They are great to put headbands on and you can also store bows inside and around the rim.\u00a0 Awesome!<\/p>\n
